Why is Pluto a dwarf planet

In the past two weeks we have been working on explanation writing here is my work,

In this piece of explanation writing I will  be writing about why Pluto is a dwarf planet because people need to know about the solar system and space.

Pluto is considered a dwarf planet because it is too small. The International Astronomical Union (IAU) downgraded the status of Pluto to that of a dwarf planet because it did not meet the three criteria the IAU uses to define a full-sized planet. Essentially Pluto meets all the criteria except one—it “has not cleared its neighboring region of other objects.

The International Astronomical Union (IAU) downgraded the status of Pluto to that of a dwarf planet because it did not meet the three criteria the IAU uses to define a full-sized planet. Essentially Pluto meets all the criteria except one—it “has not cleared its neighboring region of other objects.

It takes the dwarf planet 248.09 Earth years to complete one orbit around the sun. Plug all that info into timeanddate.com 's handy calculator, and we find that Pluto will complete its first full orbit since its discovery on Monday, March 23, 2178, just a few years after Neptune turns 2.

Pluto is named after a Roman god in the underworld.Pluto was reclassified from a planet to a dwarf planet in 2006 Pluto was discovered on February 18th, 1930 by the Lowell Observatory. Pluto has five known moons. Pluto is the largest dwarf planet. Pluto is third water.

The most important fact to remember is that Pluto is currently considered to be a dwarf-planet and is not considered to be a planet.  Pluto was considered to be a planet until 2006.  There are three criteria that planets must meet in order to be considered a planet.  Pluto only meets two of the three criteria currently in place.  Many scientists believe that Pluto should still be considered a planet, but until the criteria are reconsidered, Pluto will remain a dwarf-planet.

maori symbols

A couple weeks ago I learnt about maori symbols the first maori symbols is the hei tiki The hei-tiki  is an ornamental pendant of the Māori of New Zealand. ... They are commonly called tiki by New Zealanders, a term that originally refers to large human figures carved in wood and to the small wooden carvings used to mark sacred places. (The word hei in Māori can mean "to wear around the neck.

The second maori symbol is hei matau. The fish hook symbol is said to represent prosperity and safe travel over water. It's a clever design because it incorporates both the fish and fish hook motif into one design. Traditionally Maori were very reliant on the bounty they caught from the sea to survive.

The 3rd maori symbol is te manaia.

The Manaia is traditionally believed to be the messenger between the earthly world of mortals and the domain of the spirits, and its symbol is used as a guardian against evil. In this form, it is usually represented in a figure-of-eight shape, the upper half culminating in a bird-like beak.

The 4th maori symbol is te koru. The koru, which is often used in Māori art as a symbol of creation, is based on the shape of an unfurling fern frond. Its circular shape conveys the idea of perpetual movement, and its inward coil suggests a return to the point of origin.

The 5th maori symbol is Te Taniwha. Known as taniwha, they lurked in watery dens, or in caves, and were often depicted as dragons or serpents, with fiery eyes and lashing tails. Crucial to the stories of deadly taniwha were the heroic slayers, who triumphed with their cunning and courage.

Have you heard any other maori symbols.
